Issue: when I command printer, printer doesn’t print, while on printer screen it shows choose plain/letter/A4 on paper type /paper size on tray1/tray2 .(eg Hp laserjet pro m402dn/M426dn/M426dw)
Resolution: On the printer LCD/screen
1. Go to system setup/click the gear icon(Settings).
2. Click on the paper setup
3. On paper type under tray1 ,select any size.
4. On paper type under tray2,select any size.
5. Try to print.
OR
On the printer LCD/screen
2. Click on system setup
3. Choose reset to default settings/factory settings
Paper jam on printer catridge area on Laserjet M426dw/M400 ,425dn/PRO 400 m401dn.
Resolution:
1. switch of the printer.
2. Open the toner door and remove the toner.
3. Hold the paper with both hands and pull it slowly while pausing until the paper get removed.
4. Return the toner and close the door
5. Power on the print and try to print.
In case of any challenge ,kindly raise a ticket
Toner installation
1. Remove the toner from the sealed box.
2. Remove the orange ribbon careful by holding the orange cap and pulling careful.
3. Open the printer door and insert the new toner.
Print outs has line or black ink spots.
1. On the printer LCD/Screen go to system setup
2. Choose service.
3. Click on cleaning page.
4. Wait for the cleaning page to clean the fuser unit.
5. Try to print the cleaning page four times.
6. Print a document to see whether the lines are still appearing.
7. If still exist raise a ticket.
Printer offline.
1. Confirm the printer power cable is connected.
2. Make sure the printer is powered on.
3. Confirm whether the printer cable is intact on both ends (pc side and printer side)
4. Then try to print.
5. If you still can’t print, restart both the computer and the printer.
6. If still exist raise a ticket.
Printer is on READY but it can’t print.
1. Confirm any printer job queue by clicking on the printer from the Printers and Devices, then “see whats printing”
2. If any exist select and delete all of them.
3. Then try to print again.
1. Select the printer (eg Hp Laserjet Pro MFP M426dw)
2. Right click on it then choose “set as default printer”
3. Then try to print
